Privacy Policy

God of Way ("the app", "we") is a chronological Bible reading app. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Data we collect

• Account — email, name and profile picture (if you sign in with Google), or email alone (password sign-in).
• Preferences — reading language, level declared during onboarding, light/dark theme.
• Reading progress — book, chapter and verse reached, reading history, consecutive-day streak.
• Spiritual journal — verses you pin and notes you write. This content is private, tied only to your account, never shared or analysed.
• Subscription — Premium status (trial, active, expired) and transaction identifiers provided by Apple/Google via RevenueCat. We never receive your payment card details.

What we don't do

No selling data, no third-party advertising, no analytics or ad trackers in the app. The spiritual journal is never read, analysed or used for anything other than showing it back to you, alone.

Who data is shared with

Only with the providers necessary to run the app:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
• Apple / Google Play — processes subscription payments, managed via the App Store / Play Store.
• RevenueCat — syncs subscription status between the stores and the app.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. Deletion is immediate in the app; data is permanently erased from our servers within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time by writing to godofway32@gmail.com.

Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Authentication relies on signed tokens (JWT), never on a password stored in plain text.

Minimum age

God of Way is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.

Changes

This policy may evolve with the app. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged in the app.
